ABOUT

The Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) reached out to me for a mural project at their co-living space, Innocell. Known for my expertise as a mural artist in transforming ordinary nature into vibrant greenery murals, I was selected to bring a unique touch to the space. My ability to blend natural elements with innovative design made me the ideal choice for this project.

Mural for the co-living space in HKSTP, Innocell's Yoga room is at the centerpiece of the red brick wall. The mural features a nature scene with tropical plants and a gold round shape against a beige background.

CONCEPT

Embodying the Power of Community

The mural embodies the power of community, illustrating how small parties working closely together can have a significant impact on society. The artwork features interconnected circles, each representing active parties within HKSTP. These circles are linked by gold stripe elements, symbolizing knots in a rope, which serve as bridges connecting the different communities. This visual metaphor highlights the collaborative spirit of Innocell, where members and guests grow and thrive together.

The view outside the yoga room at Innocell, a co-living space, shows the 15/F podium. Two girls are sitting in different areas, surrounded by a few wooden tables and chairs with cushions, a red brick wall at the end of the area.

INSPIRATION

Unity and Innovation

Inspired by the dynamic and innovative environment of Hong Kong's Science and Technology Parks, the mural integrates botanical art with elements of connection and collaboration. The use of gold stripes not only adds a luxurious touch but also emphasizes the importance of unity and cooperation within the community. This wall art serves as a visual representation of HKSTP's mission to foster growth and innovation through strong community bonds.
