EXHIBITION FEATURES

3D wall art sculpture of a woman's face, partially obscured by red circular shapes and white, gray and black leaves, mounted on a circular wooden plaque.
A decorative art piece featuring a sculpted human face with closed eyes surrounded by red, circular, disc-like objects on a dark grid background.

Meticulous Construction

(Sculpture)

Delve into the intricate world of meticulously organized round, flattering shapes that shroud the face in symbolic layers. This sculpture speaks volumes about our layers, portraying the over-established images “we” present.

Unveiling The Imperfection

(Sculpture)

Unveiling the beauty within, highlighting the contrast between a decorated mask and the authentic face it masks. The pure and genuine essence radiates as the mask is removed, inspiring us to accept our imperfections.

A painting featuring a woman with a face turned slightly to the side, surrounded by red and orange floral elements, with a white curved line framing the composition and an abstract base resembling stones or roots at the bottom.

Fragments Of Perfect Illusion

(Acrylic on canvas)

Delve into the profound impact of small gestures as we explore the role of genuine greetings in pleasing others. Witness the unfolding petals of empathy and understanding and discover the untold stories behind these interactions.

Shift your perspective away from judgment and embrace the potential of a simple greeting to create meaningful connections.

THE IDEAL IMBALANCE

(Acrylic on canvas 50” x 78” )

A group exhibition, "Shape & Consciousness," curated by the Hong Kong International Youth Artists Society (HIYA), goes by the subtitle “Distortion” for my collection. It’s understandable that a hint of non-equilibrium might make you an eyesore, but have you ever considered whether the balance you're striving for is genuinely the one you want?

This piece is a striking dialogue between geometric petals and the human form. It is a visual journey of self-discovery and the intricate dance of our place in society.

In the artwork, each ‘flower’ is a metaphor for our hidden and celebrated selves - questioning, defining, and owning our individual worth.
