ABOUT
Diptyque
Paper & Ink Themed Workshop
Diptyque, the renowned fragrances retailer from Paris, reached out to me for an exciting collaboration to host a “Paper & Ink” themed workshop for the launch of their new perfume, L'EAU PAPIER - Eau de toilette. This isn’t our first collaboration; previously, I had the honor of converting one of the key artworks by one of their co-founders into a mural painting. Recognizing my unique artistic style and ability to engage participants, Diptyque entrusted me with this workshop, marking my first-ever experience hosting a large-scale event. I am deeply appreciative of this opportunity to bring my expertise to their loyal customers.
Location & Date

CONCEPT
Black and White Themed Workshop
The workshop will feature a black-and-white theme, aligning with the aesthetic of the new perfume’s packaging, designed in collaboration with artist Alix Waline, known for her delicate black-and-white paintings. I will lead 20 participants per session, with a total of 4 sessions, guiding them in creating captivating ink paintings inspired by the event environment, the brand, and the new launch image. Participants will start from scratch and finish with a decorative piece they can take home, infused with the joy and creativity they experienced during the workshop.
A DECORATIVE HOME GIFT THAT YOU CREATE YOURSELF.
INSPIRATION
A Tribute to Paper and Its Power
— BEHIND THE SCENES —
The inspiration behind this workshop is a tribute to paper and its power to unleash the imagination. The event invites participants to take the time to draw their perception of the world, using ingredients such as white musk, mimosa, blonde woods accord, and rice steam accord as sensory prompts. The white musks evoke a second skin feel, while the rice steam accord combined with notes of mimosa and blonde wood tonalities create a unique olfactory experience. This blend of scents and artistic expression aims to immerse participants in a sensory journey, celebrating creativity and personal interpretation.
